When Alien Pirate Scab scans for trophies to add to his collection, he discovers the World Cup and beams the trophy to his spaceship in space. That is until he collides with a meteor that sends the trophy scattered into different countries. Now, it is up to Kid Kleets to locate and gather all the pieces. In the 2002 and 2003 releases by Krisalis, ReadySoft, Telegames, and Ocean, the goal is to guide the soccer boy through various levels. His main tool throughout the entire game is his soccer ball. The player controls Kid Kleets and is able to perform various soccer moves like runs, shots, bicycle kicks, and headers in order to eliminate enemies or advance to the next level. The 3DO version begins showing soccer kid waiting for the World Cup to start. After the Alien Pirate Scabs steals the trophy, then the adventure takes off as the young boy begins retrieving the trophy pieces. This platform-based game is for single players and compatible with Amiga, Amiga CD32, 3DO, SNES, DOS, Jaguar, Game Boy Advance, and Play Station.
